welcome back to my normal Wednesday chilled post as usual, Today i just wanted to celebrate & Shout you guys out for helping me reach this Growth milestone from my content and as my blogging community some of you still follow me on Instagram, Twitter & Facebook  @gikonyoleah . ( if you don’t already ). You already know how excited i was when i had reached the count down posting it on my socials . So its just fair to shift the party and celebrations back to my blog where it all started in 2018.

GUYS,

It’s been a 5 year journey, where I  knew nothing of my brand and what it meant being a Content Creator ( digital content creator / youtuber ) really, al I wanted, but actually loved most about it was the fact that i could upload my shenanigans up on YouTube, & other social media platforms and have my friends, co-workers, allies, relatives & family watch how silly i can get from my normal ME. To Me it was enough from back then, but times have changed and YouTube now is considered as an entertaining, learning & vlogging as well to some content creators platform to audiences all around.

Who constantly tune in and love watching , learning and getting information from loads of how to’s videos out in the YouTube community.

Guys, Ave also honestly have had my share of achievements and disappointments, in handling myself and my Brand, being a solo freelancer & entrepreneur am my own manager, its not easy researching and trying to google stuff out and not finding exactly what your looking for or learning how to pitch for deals, getting to learn how to do stuff on my own at 22, is really not all that to my fellow friends , the rejections of some brands killed me, at first almost felt like i couldn’t wake up the next day. In short most times i felt liking giving up & i did down the line sometime back But I loved my Brand, i already could and can tell its potential from then and now and also how well I can create

something out of nothing got me back trying it one more time everyday of the week i stood up for myself when no one showed up to read my blogs or watch my videos on youtube and i kept at it, believing someday someone will stick & believe in this dream too i also still didn’t create any room to let the disappointments keep me too long down but by giving it my all and constantly pushing and learning  till date, is what has kept me breathing or alive and still present for my brand for sure.

Most days now am so Glad i never gave up! on myself or my brand, don’t get me wrong  its really not yet where i want it to be but am so happy its not where it used to be 4 years back. Listen, not everything falls at your feet like you’d want or had planned to be but truth be told time eventually grants you what you need if you stick up to it and keep going at it long enough. I never thought that ad pass or ever make it to YouTube’s watch time limit or subscriber count to get my channel monetized .

And here i am almost clocking down to it, wow! am so humbled & grateful guys, and its really all because of you and your constant engagement in my content, because also of your support i wouldn’t be here doing what i love most, For real ad wish to meet you all and hug each of you someday for being apart of the community #GFAM and as we still grow together .

I wish and hope that someday al be able to hold a party invite to each one of you for sticking around and through with me in this growth journey and process but for now am absolutely excited and so humbled to say this HUGE THANK YOU TO YOU, ALL Mostly For subscribing for always staying tuned for always showing up above all and for following through and keeping up with me in my other social media pages, Guys OMG! i can’t believe were finally celebrating this together wow!. Today, am confessing on all my recent to be exact last week’s procrastinating case study! guys*, ( hahaha,…)

Honestly. I was super bored! all through last week though really, the much struggle or hurdle was having my last weeks ( Every Wednesday’s ) blog post up and don’t get me started on how confused i was writing it on the same day it was meant to be published ugh!

 

Why do I do this things to myself ?… i really hate running late, or having to do my work on a limited space or constrained supervision Or Time limit . I literally break down and get confused not knowing how, when, or Why??? … at that particular situation and god! does it get worse when am the pro , in procrastination when it kicks in, i feel like am not going to be perfect everyday,  I won’t always want to do it but i get it done! anyways and that helps more in not forgetting its every small step I Choose to make today and everyday to be exact! in my daily living of life . That  connect me with my readers every Wednesday’s and Thursdays  that keeps you visiting and saying hi, on to me through my  comments and blog posts read , plus my overall site and  How I suck low when i think about you ,  reader so to be honest its a struggle always but we always have to keep up, whether we feel like it or not, we must choose to show up! in it all . ( SIGHS !)

ROME WASN’T BUILT IN A DAY!

That’s why, ” A YEAR FROM NOW YOU MAY WISH YOU STARTED TODAY! “… No one knows about tomorrow but doing your best today, actually trying to take up that lousy, don’t want to do it, ain’t feeling like it, task easens out your unknown tomorrow, LETS think about it like this, if every night you always slept the previous night having arranged your next day’s outfit and had your, documents , or your overnight oats frozen for Your next day breakfast meal,your shoes are neat & clean for your next day’s school day or work place for that Monday office meeting,  every week. Clearing up, or just being conscious about your next day  helps you save time and clears you up for those few things that are obvious or just appeared and are urgent then.

But mostly to me its waking up late or 5mins LATE!  ( it happens , you know what i mean…)

Finally, there’s always time for everything the lousy, am not in the mood type of days and the best, good YES! AM SUPER ENERGETIC AND MOTIVATED type of days as well as the normal days of just being at work, Right?.

And If your a fellow content creator, or youtuber you should definitely check out erika for all the juice, on how to kill it on YouTube before the year ends. This 2 have always been my fav podcast to jump start my mornings or help me get back to energy and steam me to work by raising my moods up through the teachings but mostly motivational interviews held by mostly Mr . LEWIS HOWES (I love those Most ! )

so anyways, from confessing all about my lazy ass last week, i just want to be real and share some of my fav podcasts and jams, that i use to get me back to MOTIVATION AND INSPIRE ME TO DO MY BEST EVERY DAY! ( As i write this blog post, am listening to my fav tunes , also shared below so am not to be lazy, writing out here! ) .

listen dear, you got to learn how to trick or learn a new skill to keep up, with your work and for me listening to the following 90’s ( Mayb ) *chuckles… jams is just apart that allows me not to scream when my work is overwhelming or overloaded I Literally dance and sing along my planned work or projects, peacefully and this keeps me in good spirits just by listening to them,  This i confess is my secret to staying motivated mostly wheen i feel lousy or not in the mood .

No! Guys,

I won’t come out here and try to pretend like am the GURU all full thu!, in all this healthy diets, always work out!, normalized talks by nutritionist and fitness influencers, though i very much should absolutely let you and allow you to follow your heart and mind to what you’d like and want to live by and use as your workout routine from the one time! you loved or admire ( influencers ) depending on their routines to get you inspired to get up and Snap work out of it! in your everyday fitness journey.

Just so you know am proud of you!, and your doing great! ( thanks for stoppying by )

So anyways In this particular post, al be sharing with you what i do to Maintain my normal 47.8 weight count and a medium physical body shape and size for starters and how eating healthy foods like e.g kale’s, loads of proteins and a top thumb pinch of carbohydrates or Starch depending ni nini … ( on what ) am having on my plate and day and yes!, am that girl who serves her plate depending with my mood swings left,right,corner,center, in short by how i feel or miss to taste or eat.

And because of this I try my best in maintaining a religious normal workout routine every 3 times In a week , that’s on Monday , Tuesday, And Wednesday , where I personally, split my work outs in two goals

1. Butt work out for 2 days

2. 1 day to work on my abs.

Honestly, All my life ave always admired And have always wanted to maintain a medium body size and shape, since in my family for starters ,unfortunately we suffer or have high risks of suffering  from excessive weight gains, and hereditary diabetic type 1 cases .

Thus this has always had me on a clinch and pushed me consciously when it comes to taking care of my overall body. I normally worked out with no specific plan or body goals to begin with but that was, overall enough for me and i was always content in knowing that i was working out anyways and that was all that counted for me then,

But that’s Until my last birthday this year, where i literally wanted and needed  plus changed some of the worst habits i had developed with time, and i literally cleaned up good!, everything from my past meaningless life of wasteful energy routines which also fell into transforming and taking note on my fitness and diet routine which I had to come to terms with and change, where before I would normally, prefer to eat out and have take aways, but I ended up coming up with a routine that fit me cooking from certain timers and duration easy first and healthy meals anyways, Now!

Incase I failed to mention To you earlier on, how I prefer Working out at home more than going out to the gym its just because, if your finances don’t match your lifestyle, to me it shouldn’t hurt you to accept  and try to twink some of this things to better fit your lifestyle and openly honestly speaking/ sharing Our day to day costs of living in kenya

( if you know, you know ) , are getting higher and higher to some to others if your able to pay off monthly/ yearly membership or have coupons from your current gym facility, that’s absolutely awesome!

If there’s anything ave learnt about life and circumstances is that you need to breath in and take it a day at a time in whatever and way you are abled by God to hold darlings!,

Life has this mystic rhythm way of just being what or how it chooses or pleases to unfold and Be and it absolutely has nothing to do with the results but what matters is the HOW TO…  Do, Move, Turn, or Be. No matter the circumstances because not everything is meant To be as it is really.

When they say the best is yet to come, believe it and don’t doubt it!, positivity is like the cream or lubrication in life to slide you through it all *really. It evens everything out smoothly and yes! even the ones that seem to be so worst, literally somehow turn out to be the best things at the end of the day. Chasing your dreams should literally, scare you  and give you courage at the same time. I know what your thinking and saying by now ” what do you mean “,  * well…

But seriously though, sit down, and think about it calmly, if your too scared then your definitely inwardly still having that certain curiosity there is in every individual but mostly go getters, of whats behind that  door this literally leads and  adds you up to the force that pushes you to take up! that leap of faith and run with it either way. ( Normal people call it A RISK .)

Am always very pessimistic about life’s DO’S AND DON’T S and the normalcy Mentality were forced to accept everyday though they differ with what God had in store for us .But their things now being an adult and a fiance to the lover of my life * things I choose to personally differ with NOT MOST but Some . Its everything in this World / social systems may be even if its not everything there’s at least something always,

 

LIFE CHOICES.

 

If it was as easy we’d all choose to be Billionaires, Successful, leaders, Entrepreneurs and God only knows what our hearts desires, but its a good thing to want the best but the trick is here and probably the why we don’t wake up RICH! IN WEALTH like we keep dreaming .

let me explain the why? as we begin this.

  • Your easily and always being drifted away from the goals you’ve set by mere phone beeps!, Noise & distractions, procrastinating, and that eventually leads us to be that guy whose always waiting to be a  billionaire somehow in his dreams! couch or bed at night/day
  •   when you already know success is  a choice and you won’t get there, being lazy, wimpy and frustrated or confused, You somehow develop or open your mind to an understanding where you have to start no matter what or how you are to keep paddling harder and harder through the sea and fog so the choice of understanding that unless you choose to get yourself in that Mental state and take up that choice of facing up to your own truth to realize you can use what you have to get you there or at least close enough to it is much hopeful than sitting down and waiting for it!.  But the WORK is in THE DOING.
  • Being able to willfully force or push yourself to DO It at all cost no matter what and being fully responsible to take up the yoke of hardship and commitment and by embracing this Truth and placing it on your shoulders is all it takes to get you closer and closer everyday to your Billionaire dreams that you’ve always hoped  for.

NOTE * THE FRIENDS YOU KEEP

 

 

  • Friends bring to us cheer, Merry and to the dear ones comfort, in time of it but you see you have to sit down and differentiate who is a friend in need and a friend in deed!. ITS NOT EASY differentiating THE TWO IN OUR FRIENDSHIP CIRCLES BUT SOMETIMES just noticing the difference and creating boundaries to guard your inner peace is just one way of doing it and the respect you get from doing so is always so worth while even in long-term meet ups and future merry celebrations together with them, BUT FIRST SET YOUR BOUNDARIES AND ADD TAX! in your life when it comes to friendship circles or anyone really.

LASTLY, WHO ARE YOU .

 

 

  • When you walk inside a room full of people, how do they perceive you, what do they know or think they know about you?. Can you be able to silence all those doubt cries and ego voices and gentle whisper back at yourself but mostly your Mind and say . I am who God Created me to be, and I am wonderfully & beautifully  made in his perfection and so my thoughts are the only things that matter above all else.
  • How I perceive myself, How I see myself, How I carry myself around without anyone complimenting me about anything Or watching me is who I am and i should embrace my flaws,scars, past experiences with pride since none other has passed through them and can tell a better story about me apart from ME .
  • I always hold My TRUTH inwardly though, don’t we all  But Learning and choosing yourself over anything else first helps you to smoothly understand Life & nature and how it all works out a rhythm to make of what you perceive yourself to be from your thoughts and easily recognizing as you cherish the beautiful inner gifts you have, and the good memories you hold is what makes you YOU And that’s always the best Reality Truth or lets call it thing you’d ever do in your life . Everyday ask yourself what matters most to yourself and inner most being, then you will be able to focus more clearer to your goals and have a drive to reach them .

 

I hope you, will allow yourself and give yourself enough time to let your Heart search your Mind and your mind your thoughts  but first seek GOD, for he will guide you through it all, Trust on him and do not let your guard down in this life journey for HE IS GOD and HE IS FOREVER ABLE AND WILLING to help us no matter the situation or circumstance. OUR GOD IS a GOD OF POSSIBILITIES ALWAYS. Keep your trust on him.
